In 2018 our NGO organized together with Galerie Iris Anders Mooi the art exposition ‘Kunst aan de EE’ in Woudsend, The Netherlands. It was our first art exposition under the name ‘The Phoenix of Iran’. It was a wonderful event which we still remember as one of the early highlights of our NGO.
Identity
Now, in 2020, we are continuing ‘The Phoenix of Iran’, with several Iranian and Dutch artists. The first exposition on the agenda is the exposition ‘Identity’ by Samir, a young Iranian artist and living in the Netherlands. He is an emotional person and he captures these emotions in his paintings, which are characterized by their colorful and expressive style.
Our president, Marjan van der Schaaf, got in contact with Samir at the exposition in Woudsend. He immediately decided to expose his work together with Stichting Simba in order to contribute to nature and wildlife protection in his father land Iran.

The exposition is held in De Fabriek, James Wattstraat 4, 8912 AR Leeuwarden and can be visited during opening hours of De Fabriek (www.defabriekleeuwarden.nl).
You can visit ‘Identity’ from Samir until the end of 2020. After that ‘The Phoenix of Iran’ will continue with other expositions.
